Mr. Nick Peterson is a Welding Engineer/Curriculum Developer for Miller Electric Manufacturing Company. Miller Electric headquarters is located in Appleton, Wisconsin and is the world’s largest manufacturer of arc welding and cutting equipment. Mr. Peterson has worked in the welding field for 24 years. Mr. Peterson is also a certified AWS Welding Inspector and is a Faculty Advisor teaching a welding survey course at Arizona State University.
In addition to serving as a director and secretary on the Nocti Business Solutions Board of Directors, Mr. Peterson serves as the chair of the Arizona SkillsUSA Welding Technical Committee, is the vice-chair for the American Welding Society Skills Competition Committee, a member of the AWS Education committee, and serves as a member of the SkillsUSA Foundation. Mr. Peterson has published several articles in the quarterly e-newsletter for Fabricating and Metalworking Magazine, has published several Miller Training Series Welding Processes and Filler Metal books, as well as, published a book on the AWS Skills Competition Committee WorldSkills Selection Process. Mr. Peterson is a world champion welder, where he earned a bronze medal in TaiPei, Taiwan at the WorldSkills competition in 1993. Mr. Peterson resides in Chandler, Arizona, with his wife and daughter.
